Post by KenR » 15 Oct 2014, 15:08

It is with deep regrat that I announce the passing of Mrs Margaret Rudge wife of Halesowen Towns' former stalwart, the Late Harry Rudge. I know that I share with all associated with the Yetlz , past and present, in offering our sincere condolences to the family, Stephen, Janet and David.

I was probably too young in my first stint 1966-1970 to remember the Rudge's and not involved when my second stint as a fan started in 2004.

Obviously I have since heard about H Rudge seen articles on here and the Stand bearing his name.

That article is an interesting read.

God bless you Mrs Rudge for all you did so Halesowen Town FC is here today for me to support.

That is what non league is about.
