I'd walk a million miles

Post by wednesburystokie » 12 Aug 2014, 10:17

As a Stoke fan obviously I get bored very easily.

As I plan to be at all home and away games next season I thought I would see how many miles I'd cover.

Just for league games I'll be clocking up around 4,700 miles, each home game is somewhere in the region of a 29 mile round trip.

My shortest journey will be Rushall which will be in the region of 13 miles there and back whereas Workington will be around 480 miles return.

Different cup competitions may well push it over the 5,000 miles Mark, but I will take the train to Wembley as parking is a bugger. :-)

Don't know about walking, especially for home games, it'll be more stumbling via the Flute for a curry.
