Straw clutching
Having looked at the league table i noticed that the only zero in the whole grid was in the Gresley Rovers away draws column. Would be very nice if they could rectify that on monday......

Re: Straw clutching
What you've got to understand is that during our games with Coalville, form goes out of the window. It's one of two big local games we have in a season and there's more than a little bit of needle in it between fans, players & management, rightly or wrongly.
I'd love to see them choke again after last season, the ground is very poor, and I know ours isn't the best but it's got a character to it, last year we played there was hardly any hard standing. In our boxing day, there was lots of incident and a player from them was sent off, a guy who always gets into it when he plays against us. We'll be doing our best to wind him up again because he has a history of spitting his dummy out & that's something you must exploit.
Back on last years NY fixture, one of our club stalwarts had his jaw badly broken from their keeper when coming out for a through ball, it completely ruined our lads for a long time, was one of the nastiest injuries I've seen, albeit accidental & with them having an ex player of ours who had issues with a lot of the fans, then it just ramps it up. We'll be doing our utmost

Excellent, are many Gresley fans likely to go to Coalville? You had quite a few come here to Halesowen but you spread yourselves about the ground.gfcfan wrote:What you've got to understand is that during our games with Coalville, form goes out of the window.
