When you score 3 goals it's always a positive. Great game, looking back, overshadowed by the ref.

Ben scoring two Saturdays in a row, his first scoring run since his return.

A bit of a reality check for an otherwise solid defence (after 4 straight clean sheets).

Sitting in second only on goal difference (give me points over games in hand any day).

A fair few positives! :)

Glad this thread came up.

Seven goals for 90 minutes of a game for what is my mostly enjoyable down there to date, plus THE goal that was worth £8 alone (best I've seen down the Grove, I was having a wee during Ben's famous lob last season)

Plus Sargeant proved me wrong with his recent clean sheets (I'm not bothered about the four goals, they weren't his fault)

6 out of 9 points against the top sides we would have taken anyroad

And a controversial positive: All the refs down the Grove are bad whenever we lose, and he's not the first one I've seen bottle it, nor will be the last.

Belper were a good team and to lose a thriller like that and still be second in the table... onwards & upwards ;D
