Anyone watched much of this yet?
England did ok last night but I feel that Ukraine could possibly beat us with the Home fans on their side etc.

Hardly seen much of this, but finally England played to their strengths instead of believing the hype of how brilliant we are.
If the home fans are on their side then I don't fancy our 11 on the pitch being able to keep 35,000 Ukrainians from scoring :-)

Been lucky enough to watch every game (first time I've watched footy in HD too!) and am enjoying it so far, although some of the teams' defending is hilarious!
As for England's defence, it has and always will be solid. I'm going for the usual draw against the swedes but expect a surprise when we beat Ukraine and go through to the last 8!

We'll beat the Swedes, beat the Ukrainians and then lose in the quarter final to Rocester (at Leek Town).

I thought you would be over there watching the games? Mr World Wide Traveller!

I think YeltzDoc's new nick should be "International Social Butterfly" or summat

You know, I had tickets as well - a pair for all England games up to and including the final if we made it - but had to pass on them. I've got a Ukranian distributor and I was trying to inveigle an invitation but it didn't quite work out so I'd have had to pay for it myself, making it a much less inviting prospect.

Having now seen every team twice, the only 2 i would fear are Spain and Germany. Unfortunately Spain may just be round the corner. We don't look great, but playing to our limited strengths is the best way forward. Long may it continue. (We do have a poor record against Rocester though).

What pants that tale is
I have it from a very reliable source (ie YOU!) that you were too busy bothering the Mighty Biscuits in Azerbaijan
Or was it Khazakistan? I still don't understand.

All true.
And, I was in Almaty and Astana last year, but not to see the mighty HMHB - I don't think Uncle Nigel would do a Thursday night there, as he wouldn't be able to get back to Prenton Park for the Friday evening k.o.
Unfortunately, my travel at the moment doesn't include any of the 'Stans. Unless you include the possibilty of coming across Collymore in a car park.
