Recent reports that a pensioner had been kidnapped and held at knife point in the Brandhall area had raised concerns for the welfare of Brother Scouse, fortunately Scouse had not been taken hostage. However his daily routine was severely disrupted as said incident took place very close to the Perry Hill Tavern, it's thought Scouse was 'locked' into said establishment for over 24 hours, the Police tried to assure him it was safe to leave but he insisted on seeking refuge. Perry Hill Road is believed to have been closed off again several hours after the incident ended, the 2nd closure however was not due to further Police enquiries but was related to the large number of heavy goods vehicles replenishing the vastly depleted stock of food and beer at the Perry Hill Tavern following the departure of Brother Scouse.

Good to know all the fuzz were about and (gratefully) blocking off all access to the in-laws recently all down to one of our members!
As for the Perry Hill Tavern... it's a bit, erm,
PINK, ay it???
Any debate could be settled by cerise I s'pose.

It has to be said there were a lot of very worried looking people in Tav with that many boys in blue around - personally I just thought they were there to escort me to the KFC and back !!

Like I said, we could settle on cerise, or even salmon at a push...
...being as the PHT in the new-look tickle-me-pink colours is 1.6 miles from my doorstep, feel free to pm me about a potential pint or 2
