Mobile Phone help?

Post by JohnC » 06 Aug 2014, 12:57

Looking to change my mobile. Mainly texts, some calls and small internet usage.

What phone, what air time provider and where to go to get (I know some may be the same as the provider) would you recommend?

I am not a youngster glued to the phone all day and do not want to pay a mthly fortune.

Any suggestions gratefully recevied. ;D

Buy a phone outright and get a sim separately would be my suggestion if you can afford the outlay.

Virgin Media starter tariff is £10 per month and decent for what you get. Compared with a normal contract of £40 odd quid.

If you're a virgin customer you can get some good deals.

I negotiated a deal on my phone where I get unlimited data, unlimited texts and more minutes per month than I'll ever need for £26 a month, mainly because Mrs AVFCYELTZ is on the same contract and we have our broadband, tv, and home land line.

I did have to compromise on the handset though so have the S3 as opposed to the newer S4. It more than suits my needs though.
