Our couple of postponements have left us feeling blue, but spare a thought for Gateshead. Ongoing problems with thier pitch at the International Stadium over the last few months have left them as nomads. FOUR whole months had gone by until recently without a saturday 'home' game and January saw only 2 games in total. Six different grounds are now being used to catch up the fixtures. The game against Newport this midweek was played about a hundred miles away at Boston. And this was at the FIFTH attempt. Other 'home' venues include Carlisle, Middlesbrough, Blyth Spartans, York and Hartlepool.
