Got himself sent off last week for an over the top challenge, whilst still playing for Camarthen Town, sorry Owen, CPD Tref Caerfyrddin.

My favourite "Big Julie" story from his time with us was in some home match about a hundred years ago when one of his contact lenses fell out.
The combined wisdoms of him and our bench decided that the best way to deal with this was to bandage over one of his eyes so that he had at least monocular 20:20 vision, or perhaps just 20 vision.

We were then treated to ten minutes of him running around looking like a cross between Terry Butcher and Pudsey, with the arrangement falling off every few seconds and having to be tied back on.

This lasted for a bit longer before he gave it up as a bad job and we probably put somebody brilliant on, like Alan Attwood.
