Will he be on £50 a goal - and grab the ball for every penalty? :-X

It's nearly 9 years since Danks was one of scorers in a great 3-0 win at Dover:
10-Mar-03 DOVER A 604 3 0 CLARKE COLWELL HINES BAURESS COLLINS L STONE WILLIAMS ASHBY DANKS* MCHUGH*# SKIDMORE
subs: LEADBEATER MASTER TRAINER SPENCER
It was a long journey for a match on a Monday night but proved very worthwhile although, after losing Fraser McHugh on transfer deadline to Bradofrd City, we ended the season relegated.

I was there I managed to convince the people at the college I was at at the time that the game was important so was able to get out of going to a lecture! We also stopped in the same hotel as Tim Clarke! I reckon there were about 13 or 14 yeltz supporters at the game. I should also say that I remain very grateful to my mom for driving all the way there for an evening kick-off.

Yes signed for those lot up the road on Friday apparently. I had a word in his bros ear to try and convince Mark that the right move was to come back to the grove and play for peanuts but It looks like I failed in my quest!!

Tim Clarke did well to get there, a month later he failed to find the Newport County ground....

yes I remember he went to Newport in Shropshire instead apparently! I also seem to remember Mark Danks scoring a goal in a Boxing Day fixture at Redditch and kick-off was delayed for some reason.

Two sub appearances at Chesham and Banbury. Not 45 minutes between them. Had a shot saved at Banbury, apart from that nothing. Attitude questionable, won't be missed...
