By the way that's fantastic detective work!Laurel Lane Lamper wrote: ↑11 Sep 2018, 17:21If Stainton Mackenzie & Tom Caughey are correct, the only line-up that they played in together and that corresponds with the 13 players wearing the strip in the photo is
06-May-89 COV. SPRTNG A 5 1 WILLIAMS MACKENZIE PRICE MORRALL PEARCE HEMANS* HAZLEWOOD FLYNN* SPINK JOINSON P* CAUGHEY** PENN JOINSON L
Anyone remember Cov Sporting from the photo?
Second One.

Re: Second One.
With 4 of those players moving directly on to league clubs (Flynn, Cash, Spink, Pearce) plus the Joinson twins, Hazelwood and Penn, what a basis for a side!

Re: Second One.
Malcolm confirms that it’s Tom Caughey, but doesn’t know who the black guy in the shirt and tie next to him is.
Any idea anyone?
I think he’s the only one out of the two pics that we don’t have.

Re: Second One.
Malcolm thinks Leon Jackson too. I have a vague recollection that he's right.
I'm not a million percent happy with the Dale Mansell answer - Dale was much more tanned and buff if (slightly homo-erotic) memory serves, but it'll do.
As per Andy's comment, I wouldn't have any chance of doing this for any team post 2000....

I'm ok up till when M**s*n shipped in bus loads of blokes from London every week and hoped he had 11 (he didn't on at least two occasions). And they think we've got it bad now............

Re: Second One.
Dale Mansell played his 1st match at start of the next season. That player could be Ian Fletcher.
