Also notable as one of BCR’s finest moments when the commentator persistently pronounced it as “Jee - oh - hag - hon” despite him being well known and indeed it being a relatively common Irish surname.
After several messages to the station, including some from unknown Harrogate residents, the bloke said that this was how he was saying it, and he would continue to do so.

I wonder what the Venn diagram of Harrogate residents, BCR listeners (albeit reluctant ones) and forumistas is?
Shouldn't be difficult to work this one out
