And the other assistant manager that he refers to is none other than Carlos de Azevedo.

sorry Doc a little before my time ("I think). I assume this other chap. The article mentions has some connection with HTFC or is at least well-known. Some enlightenment would be appreciated . Thanks.

possibly, although I'm pretty sure I must have seen him play as I remember that side just about as it was when I was only coming intermittently. I think I started coming more regularly in the John Chambers era . I have memories of Danny McDonnell, Steve Pearce, Phil Wood, Jason Owen , Matt Gardner, Adrian Cooper, Evran Wright , Mark Peters , some of whom are on the picture, but when I started coming all the era's seem to roll into one

just on the point of Matt Gardner . I get very confused. There seemed to be several people by that name around there is a chap by that name who has just moved from Worcester to Kidderminster is that the same chap that played for us or a different person entirely?

Those names bring back some memories. Going down to the Grove in all weather at the age of 14 with my old man. Loved those days. I still have my shirt from that season, along with a good few programs too.

I dread to think of the amount of hours I spent entering every single player we had on Championship Manager back in those days.

Also, Liam McDonald has left Redditch for Hednesford. He played a few games for us - http://www.yeltzarchives.com/history/cl ... ?task=view - as a wide midfielder if memory serves, before going off into management at the age of about 12.
