Guessing that you did attend this one LLL, I imagine the ground wasn't in the greatest of states back in 1984. No attendance given, I wonder if there's any photos of our success there

2,100 was more than Wolves were getting a couple of seasons later!

Attendance at that game was, and still is, a very very sore point.
To say we were fiddled is the understatement if all time
We reckoned there were over 3000 there, but sadly the financial plight of the Dingles at the time resulted in creative accounting on an unprecedented scale which meant that neither side received much...from memory it was just about enough to cover bus fares from Halesowen

It wasn't long before Jimmy Greaves, after their Chorley debacle, recommended on local TV that Wolves should merge with us
