He was the original "3 Shredded Wheat" man.

He would eat two and wear the third one on his head.

I was chatting to Paddy today and I couldn't believe it when he told me he was a semi-pro footballer and manager.

I googled his name and here I am, in this old thread; I live next door to Paddy, he likes his dogs and cars and is a really nice guy.

Do you want me to ask him any questions?

Gosh, you live next door to a Halesowen legend! He WAS the man that brought us up to the level we are at from a nothing team. You do know he took us to Wembley a few times as well don't you?

You could ask him, from all the top draw players we had at the time, who was his favourite and why. We all have our own choices but it would be interesting to know if it was a joy to work with the Joinsons, Mark Penn, Malcolm Hazlewood or 1 of many others. Maybe even some bloke by the name of Moss.

It'll be the other Yeltz knight, "Sir" Johnny Woodhouse.

I've since moved but will be going back to my old digs next week and will ask him the questions you seek; are there any more?

I was chatting to him before I moved and said there was a thread about him; he did mention Wembley, but he's very humble. I asked if he had any old photos and he said he did not...which he regrets. So I thought of printing off some photos and framing them, but could only find the following:

I think question 2 from Lutley was very much tongue in cheek. I'm sure there are many old photos knocking about, of which the club should have plenty.
