Play-off final shock
Moderators feel free to move this somewhere if it's in the wrong place. I notice that in the southern Premier play-off final today, Hungerford have beaten Leamington whilst in terms of league position. Not that I've been following it too closely. This doesn't seem like a great shock when you consider we went to Hungerford in the South and West, and have also in the past been to Leamington and you compare what the setup's of both clubs look like from the outside, Hungerford getting promoted seems a surprise to me. Incidentally, in the Leamington starting line-up was former Halesowen town player Jamie Hood and on the bench was Rob Elvins who I believe played for us this season at Frickley and a few other times. Not forgetting former Halesowen town physio Pete Denham and former manager Paul Holleran both being a Leamington. Sorry, if this is a bit disjointed my voice recognition software tends to put punctuation marks in the wrong place. Obviously congratulations to Hungerford and commiserations to Leamington.

Re: Play-off final shock
In deed Chris, when we played them 2011 gate at Hungerford 82 with our usual loyal away following Hungerford must have a financial backer prepared to throw money at it. In the long term is that sustainable?
This season their lowest gate was 98, highest 250 ish, average 159!
Now they are in the conference South or whatever, they like to call it. Will be interesting to see how they get on.
