Not sure if this loyalty follows through to the cricket season, but both Rog and Dave are fans of West Bromwich Dartmouth in the Birmingham League (for whom Roger used to play). I wonder how many years of following them they've racked up?
To me Roger is at his best when eulogising about the next Josh Tongue that he's spotted coming through the Worcestershire system.

Roger & Dave have seen The Yeltz play 1,342 matches, in that 25 years, winning 578 of them and scoring 2.082 goals.
Their achievement is expected to be mentioned on this week's Jumpers For Goalposts.

And a big well done from me too!

I hope there was plenty of celebratory cake in evidence at Rushall yesterday? Again, well done chaps.

Have a George. One each - sod the expense!

They never used to miss many Sunday morning Olympic Star games either, before they folded a few years back.

Do they actually have a home to go to, or do they just trek from one sporting event to another...?

Great stats as ever! Did a rough estimate in my head yesterday at 1300, so not far out. Have set Dave the task of working out the mileage!! They clock up 10 miles for a home game, so there's SIX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED already!! Let's not forget either that miss against Atherstone and also i think Dover (lightweights ;) ) a few months earlier were only blips. I can't remember not seeing them at away games for many years prior to that. My very, very rough guess is during that 25 years the average distance to an away game could be around 75 miles, so 150 a pop. So multiply that by 670 and it's tops ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MILES. Four times and more round the world!!! Incredible.
